Like every year, for centuries, the traditional tosada of the flock is repeated. The village resounds with bells and bleating, sheep that recognize the places and little lambs that tread the streets for the first time, breeders waiting for the flock anxiously ready for the autumn tosada, the one that gives the best wool. The restaurateurs of the village propose for the occasion a menu based on sheep meat.

Desmalgada Sunday, September 16th 2018 - Cogolo, from Malga Pontevecchio to Pegaia
The "Desmalgada" of cows from Malga Pontevecchio up to the Bavarian tent in Pegaia, with a subsequent parade through the streets of the town of Cogolo.
Feast celebrating the return of livestock from the past to the village: the cows are "embellished" with flowers and bells. The term "desmalgada" therefore refers to the end of the summer season, to the fulfillment of another cycle of life with the autumn on its doorstep.
