About Peio Fonti

At the centre of the village is the spa pavilion, which since 1981 has brought together the mineral waters from the historic Antica and Alpina springs, later joined by a third spring, the Nuova Fonte.

Just a short distance from the thermal baths is the Tarlenta gondola station, the starting point for reaching the ski slopes in winter and for countless hiking and trekking routes during the summer.

Beyond the village, on the left side of Val del Monte, a scenic forest road leads to the Pian Palù Dam. On the opposite mountainside, visitors can explore the remains of the historic Barbadifiore Austrian Fort.

The valley ends at the Fontanino di Celentino, where numerous walking trails begin, winding around the beautiful Pian Palù artificial lake.

From Pejo Terme, following the provincial road, you can also reach the Wildlife Area of the Stelvio National Park, a 5-hectare mixed woodland reserve where it is possible to observe red deer and roe deer in their natural environment.

The park also offers guided tours led by park rangers, providing visitors with an excellent introduction to the wildlife and natural heritage of the area.
